I mainly (only) post on Ao3 under the name of Dark A Manielewski. Yes the name's a parody of MZD. The fandoms I post in vary, but if you check out my works you'll find I've posted especially in House of Leaves and The Familiar. In fact, I was actually the instigators for Firsts in both- being the first to tag a Lude/Johnny fic in HoL, and posting the first The Familiar fic!

Here's some fics I wrote that I am especially proud of:

Crash (Fandom: HoL, Unrequited Lude/Johnny): First HoL fic I posted, along with being the aforementioned first Lude/Johnny fic on Ao3. I actually don't ship Lude and Johnny as an actual couple, but rather Lude has unrequited feelings for Johnny.

Leaves of House (Fandom: HoL): Essentially a Crack fic, but one I put some effort into. Instead of a house that's bigger on the inside, the Navidson has to deal with a house with a lot of leaves on the inside. Also Johnny has a fear of leaves but gets over it at the end.

Bathtub and Neon Tetra (Fandom: The Familiar, Toxic Luther/Jingjing): Believe it or not, I'm not too into shipping. Mostly I am content with canon pairings, and if I find them lacking, I either find the rest of the media lacking or I simply just ignore them. There is, however, one non-canon pairing I still obsess over: Luther/Jingjing. I am quite possibly the only L/JJ shipper out there (mostly because there's not really a TF fandom out there), and I like to think of their potential relationship in different ways: both redeemed and healthy, both villainous yet somehow healthy enough, and toxic. This fic's an exploration of a toxic dynamic between the two, with Jingjing being the more toxic/outright abusive one.

Anglerfish (Fandom: HoL): Anglerfish are a lot like the Minotaur, if you think about it. Essentially two stories happening at once: an alternate bad end for Will Navidson, and a fish becoming prey to an anglerfish. Both deal with hope spots. Was actually looking at this work of mine recently to assess which fics I wanted to post here, and I'm actually impressed with myself with how decent it is.

Slay the Loathing (Fandoms: Slay the Princess, West of Loathing): This one's a dumb crossover with two of my favorite meta monochromic games. Who knew that an intrusion of a spittoon could derail a horror story so quickly?

What's Inside (Fandoms: The Amazing Digital Circus, Jax & Gangle): A what-if where someone walked in on Jax having a mental breakdown in the bathroom during episode 6- except it's not Pomni or even Ragatha, but rather Gangle. Why? Because Gangle's my favorite character. That said, their dynamic I found actually has potential beyond a bully-victim relationship. Can't say I romantically ship them (yet), but I'd like to explore the two of them together more one day.
